5.10.1. Engine dismantling

It be required to you: keys on 12, on 14, on 17, on 19, on 32, a face head on 13, the tools necessary for removal of water and oil pumps, heads of the block of cylinders, a screw-driver, a hammer, a stripper of the oil filter, the adaptation for выпрессовки a piston finger or approaching оправка, пассатижи.

    

GOOD ADVICE If there is a possibility, work at the special rotary stand providing access to the engine from different directions as the engine is very heavy for fixing from moving at отворачивании the details of fastening tightened by the big moment.

1. Remove the engine from the car (Removal and engine installation see).

2. Remove a starter (Removal and starter installation see).

3. Remove the generator (Removal and generator installation see).

4. Disconnect from the engine a transmission, having turned out bolts of its fastening to the engine (Removal and transmission installation see).

5. Remove coupling from a flywheel (Removal and coupling installation see).	6. Remove a flywheel (Removal, installation and дефектовка a flywheel see).

7. Remove a drive газораспределительного the mechanism (Replacement and adjustment of a tension of a belt of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism and replacement of its tension roller see) and its back cover (Removal and installation of the oil pump see).

8. Remove a head of the block of cylinders (Replacement of a lining of a head of the block of cylinders see).

9. Having hooked a screw-driver, take from a nest of the block of cylinders a back epiploon of a cranked shaft.	10. Remove oil картер (Replacement of consolidation oil картера see)...

13. … and the oil filter (oil Replacement in the engine and the oil filter see).	14. Turn out two bolts of fastening of an arm of the generator and remove an arm.

15. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a branch pipe of system of ventilation картера …	16. … also remove a branch pipe and the lining established under it.

17. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a water distributive pipe …	18. … ослабьте a collar of fastening of a hose of a pipe to a branch pipe of the block of cylinders …

19. … also remove a water distributive pipe.

    

GOOD ADVICE At dismantling krivoshipno-shatunnogo the mechanism and piston group mark pistons, rods, loose leaves radical and шатунных bearings that at assemblage to establish them on former places if they are efficient.

20. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a cover of a rod of any cylinder.	21. Shift a cover of a rod from a seat easy blows of a hammer through the wooden prorate …

22. … also uncover with the loose leaf.

    

THE PREVENTION Conditional marks are put on a cover and a rod (a badge in the form of a square and figure). At assemblage of the engine the figure and a badge should be located on the one hand. However the rod and a cover are not marked by numbers of cylinders. Necessarily mark in their any accessible way (for example, кернением) that at assemblage to establish on former places, as covers of rods невзаимозаменяемы (rod is processed together with a cover).

THE PREVENTION Covers of radical bearings are intended only for one concrete block of cylinders (covers process together with the block). Among themselves covers невзаимозаменяемы. On covers numbers corresponding to an order of their installation are put, considering from a forward part of the engine (on a cover of the fifth radical bearing of number is not present). The letters cast on covers BK at installation should be directed to an engine left-hand side.

29. Remove other covers of radical bearings and remove a cranked shaft.	30. Remove loose leaves from all rods...

33. … and from all beds in the block of cylinders.

    

THE NOTE The loose leaf of a cover of the third radical bearing of the increased thickness also has on lateral end faces the fillets playing a role of persistent half rings, limiting axial moving of a cranked shaft. Similar fillets are executed and on the top loose leaf of the third radical bearing.

34. Unclench top компрессионное a ring and remove it.

35. Similarly remove the second (bottom) компрессионное a ring.

36. Unclench and remove the top ring …	37. … a dilator …

38. … and the bottom ring compound маслосъемного rings.	39. Выпрессуйте a finger from lugs of the piston and the top head of a rod.

    

NOTES Do not heat up a rod before выпрессовкой a finger. Not to damage the piston, use at выпрессовке a finger wooden linings, as is shown in a photo
