5.5. Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in position ВМТ of a step of compression

The piston of 1st cylinder establish in position ВМТ (the top dead point) compression step that at the work, connected with removal of a belt of a drive of a camshaft, installation of phases timing was not broken. At infringement of phases timing the engine will normally not work.

Expose ВМТ on a label on a camshaft pulley (at installation on labels on a pulley of a cranked shaft in this position there can be a piston either 1st, or 4th cylinder). After that be necessarily convinced of coincidence of labels on a gear pulley of a cranked shaft (if the pulley of a drive of the generator is removed). If labels on a pulley of a cranked shaft do not coincide, means, installation of phases timing (the piston of 1st cylinder is not established in ВМТ) is broken. In this case it is necessary to remove a belt of a drive of a camshaft and to turn a cranked shaft before combination of labels.

    

GOOD ADVICE As to turn a cranked shaft for a fastening bolt to it of a pulley inconveniently, it is possible to make it in the next ways: 1) include any transfer (better the fourth) and slowly прокатите the car before combination of labels; 2) include any transfer and will hang out one of forward wheels. Then turn the hung out wheel before combination of labels

The label 4 (fig. 5.3) on a gear pulley of a camshaft should be combined with a cut (a label 3 on fig. 5.3) on a back cover of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism.

Thus the label on a pulley of a drive of auxiliary units (the painted hollow of a gear wreath of a pulley) should be opposite to the index (ledge) on the bottom cover of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism.

Besides the label is put and on a gear pulley of a cranked shaft. It becomes visible after removal of a pulley of a drive of auxiliary units. The triangular label on a gear pulley should coincide with a cut on the bottom cover of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism.

It be required to you: face heads on 10, on 17, a key on 12.

1. Remove the air filter (Removal and installation of the air filter, the muffler of noise of an admission and an air line see).

2. Remove the right forward wheel.

    

PREVENTIONS Weaken an inhaling of bolts of fastening of a wheel only on the car standing on the earth.

If work on a viewing ditch or a platform, enclose persistent бруски under wheels, brake the car a lay brake and establish a forward part of the car on a reliable support.

3. Remove the right mudguard of the engine (Removal and installation of mudguards of the engine see).

4. Remove a belt of the compressor of the conditioner at its presence (Replacement of a belt of a drive of the compressor of the conditioner see).

5. Remove a belt of a drive of the generator and the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering (Replacement of a belt of a drive of the generator and the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering see).

6. Turn out three bolts of fastening of a pulley of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering, keeping a pulley from проворачивания a screw-driver …	7. … also remove a pulley.

8. Loosen the two bolts of fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering, without turning out them absolutely.

THE NOTE To weaken fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering it is necessary because without tap of the pump from the engine it will not be possible to separate forward and bottom covers of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism and to remove a forward cover.

9. Turn out four bolts of fastening of a forward cover of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism and uncover.	10. Turn a cranked shaft for a fastening bolt to it of a pulley before label coincidence on a pulley of a camshaft with cut on a back cover of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism.

11. Check up label coincidence on a pulley of a drive of auxiliary units with the index on the bottom cover of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism.
