5.11.2. Removal and installation of the oil pump

The oil pump remove for repair at decrease in its giving causing constant pressure drop of oil in system of greasing of the engine, and also at an oil leak through a sealing lining.

It be required to you: all tools necessary for removal of a belt of a drive газораспределительного of the mechanism and oil картера of the engine, and also a key on 10.

1. Disconnect a wire from the plug "minus" of the storage battery.

2. Merge oil from the engine (oil Replacement in the engine and the oil filter see).

3. Establish the piston of 1st cylinder in position ВМТ of a step of compression (Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in position ВМТ of a step of compression see).

4. Turn out a bolt of fastening and take out from an aperture in the case of the oil pump the gauge of position of a cranked shaft (Check and replacement of gauges of a control system with the engine see).

5. Remove a drive belt газораспределительного the mechanism and a tension roller (Replacement and adjustment of a tension of a belt of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism and replacement of its tension roller see).

THE PREVENTION After removal of a belt of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism it is forbidden to turn distributive and cranked shaft as pistons can damage valves.

6. Remove a gear pulley of a camshaft (Replacement of an epiploon of a camshaft see).	7. Turn out two top bolts of fastening of a back cover of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism …

8. … two bottom bolts …	9. … also uncover.

10. Remove oil картер the engine (Replacement of consolidation oil картера see).

11. Turn out a bolt скобы tube fastenings маслоприемника to the block of cylinders …	12. … two bolts of fastening маслоприемника to the oil pump …

13. … also remove маслоприемник.	14. The flange маслоприемника is condensed by a rubber ring. Strongly pressed out, hardened or torn ring necessarily replace, otherwise because of негерметичности connections giving of the oil pump can sharply decrease.

GOOD ADVICE At each removal маслоприемника necessarily wash out its grid gasoline or kerosene to remove varnish adjournment from oil.

15. Remove a gear pulley of a cranked shaft.	16. Turn out seven bolts of fastening of the oil pump to the block of cylinders.

17. Having hooked the pump two screw-drivers, remove it from adjusting plugs in the block of cylinders.	18. If the lining of the case of the pump remained on the block of cylinders, separate its sharp tool and remove.

GOOD ADVICE At each removal of the oil pump replace a lining new. Establish only a firm lining of factory manufacturing as the lining of other thickness will cause infringement of normal work of the pump. Also at each removal of the pump replace a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft (Repair of the oil pump see).

19. Clear привалочные surfaces of the block of cylinders and the case of the pump of the rests of an old lining.

20. Before installation fill a cavity of the oil pump консистентной with greasing for maintenance всасывания oils from oil картера at the first start-up of the engine.

21. Establish the pump in an order, the return to removal, and tighten bolts of its fastening in regular intervals cross-wise the moment 7 Нм (0,7 кгсм).

22. Establish the removed details and fill in oil in the engine (oil Replacement in the engine and the oil filter see).

GOOD ADVICE At installation of the new or repaired oil pump it is recommended to replace the oil filter.
