4.3.3. Check of a belt of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism

1. For simplification of access remove the air filter (Removal and installation of the air filter, the muffler of noise of an admission and an air line see).

2. Remove a forward cover of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism (Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in position ВМТ of a step of compression see).

3. Examine a condition of a belt of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism. Replace a belt if at survey you find out:

– Oil traces on any surface of a belt;

– Wear tracks of a gear surface, a crack, подрезы, folds and отслоение fabrics from rubber;

– Cracks, folds, deepenings or cambers on an external surface of a belt;

– разлохмачивание or stratification on face surfaces of a belt.

THE PREVENTION With engine oil traces on its any surface it is necessary to replace a belt, as oil quickly destroys rubber. The reason of hit of oil on a belt (usually owing to infringement of tightness of epiploons of cranked and distributive shaft) should be eliminated immediately.

4. Check up a belt tension. Correctly tense belt should turn on 90 from effort of fingers 15–20 Н (1,5–2 кгс), the cranked in the middle between pulleys cranked and distributive shaft enclosed in the middle between pulleys. 5. Establish details in an order, the return to removal.
