4.3.21. Check of work of the vacuum amplifier of brakesAt failure of the vacuum amplifier the effort to brake pedals considerably increases that negatively affects driving.
If the effort to pedals at braking has considerably increased in comparison with usual, check up the amplifier of brakes on the motionless car.
It be required to you: keys on 17, on 19, пассатижи, a rubber pear.

1. At the idle engine press five-six times a brake pedal. Keeping a brake pedal in the pressed position, start up the engine. The brake pedal should move forward. If it has not occurred, check up...

2.... Density of landing of a vacuum hose on unions of an inlet pipe...
|
3.... And the vacuum amplifier.

THE NOTE
Easing of fastenings and damage of details is not supposed. The weakened fastenings tighten, the damaged details replace.
|
4. For check of the return valve remove a vacuum hose in gathering.
|
|
|
|
5. Compress пассатижами the unbent short moustaches of a collar of fastening of a hose to the union of the vacuum amplifier and shift a collar on a hose.
|
6. Remove a hose from the union of the vacuum amplifier.
|
|
|
|
|
7. Similarly disconnect the second end of a vacuum hose from the union of an inlet pipe and remove a hose in gathering with the return valve.
|
8. Densely insert a pear nouse into that end of a vacuum hose by which the hose was connected to the vacuum amplifier, and compress it. Air should leave a pear through the valve.
|
9. Release a pear. If it remained in the compressed condition, means, the valve is serviceable. Otherwise replace the valve. In the absence of a pear it is possible to blow the valve a mouth.
10. If the return valve passes air in both directions, replace a vacuum hose in gathering with the valve.
11. Establish details in an order, the return to removal.
