4.4.3. Replacement and adjustment of a tension of a belt ривода газораспределительного the mechanism and replacement of its tension roller

According to the recommendation of manufacturer газораспределительного the mechanism it is necessary to replace a drive belt through 60 thousand in km of run or each 6 years of operation (depending on that will come earlier). Also replace a belt of a drive of a camshaft if at survey you find out:

– Oil traces on any surface of a belt;

– Wear tracks of a gear surface, a crack, подрезы, folds and отслоение fabrics from rubber;

– Cracks, folds, deepenings or cambers on an external surface of a belt;

– разлохмачивание or stratification on face surfaces of a belt.

THE PREVENTION With engine oil traces on its any surface it is necessary to replace a belt, as oil quickly destroys rubber. The reason of hit of oil on a belt (usually this infringement of tightness of epiploons of cranked and distributive shaft) should be eliminated immediately.

THE NOTE Work spend on a viewing ditch, a platform or whenever possible on the lift.

It be required to you: a face key on 10, накидные keys or face heads on 12, on 17, a key on 24, a key-shestigrannik on 5, sliding pincers, a screw-driver with a flat edge, hermetic.

1. Remove a belt of a drive of the generator and the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering (Replacement of a belt of a drive of the generator and the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering see) and a belt of a drive of the compressor of the conditioner (Replacement of a belt of a drive of the compressor of the conditioner see).

2. For simplification of access remove the air filter (Removal and installation of the air filter, the muffler of noise of an admission and an air line see).

3. Remove the right forward wheel.

4. Establish the piston of 1st cylinder in position ВМТ of a step of compression (Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in position ВМТ of a step of compression see).

5. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft …	6. … also remove a pulley.

GOOD ADVICE Bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft will tighten very big moment. To fix a cranked shaft from проворачивания, include V transfer and press a brake pedal (it the assistant should make).

7. Turn out three bolts of fastening of the bottom cover of a drive газораспределительного the mechanism …	8. … also uncover.

9. Remove the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering (Replacement of the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering see).

10. Uncover heads of the block of cylinders (Replacement of a lining of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders see).

11. Loosen the a belt tension for what a screw-driver, overcoming effort of a spring, turn clockwise a mobile lath of a roller till the moment of combination of apertures in it and a roller arm, then insert into apertures a pin of suitable diameter, having fixed thereby a roller.	12. Remove a belt from a gear pulley of a cranked shaft, from a tension roller and pulleys of the water pump and a camshaft.

13. For replacement of a tension roller turn out a bolt of its fastening to the block of cylinders …	14. … also remove a roller.

THE NOTE If assort a mechanism drive timing only for replacement of a tension roller, the drive belt can to be removed.

15. Establish a roller in an order, the return to removal, preliminary having fixed it бородком (item 11 see).

16. Check up coincidence of adjusting labels of cranked and distributive shaft (Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in position ВМТ of a step of compression see).

17. Put on a belt a gear pulley of a cranked shaft. A back branch of a belt get for a tension roller and it is consecutive, pulling a forward branch, put on a belt pulleys of a camshaft and the water pump.

18. Screw in a shaft of a cranked shaft a bolt of fastening of a pulley and turn for a bolt a cranked shaft on two turns. Check up coincidence of adjusting labels of cranked and distributive shaft. At discrepancy repeat belt installation.

19. Take out small beards from apertures of an arm and a mobile lath, then turn a cranked shaft on two turns. If the index on a mobile lath 2 (fig. 4.7) a tension roller has coincided with a cut on an arm 1, a belt will pull normally.	20. If the index on a mobile lath has not coincided with a cut on an arm, ослабьте two screws of fastening of the water pump from below …

21. … and one from above.

THE NOTE So three screws of fastening of the water pump are located.

22. Adjust a tension of a belt turn of the case of the water pump, turning it clockwise and supervising degree of a tension of a belt under indexes of a tension roller.

23. If a belt tension regulated turn of the case of the water pump, check absence of a leak from under the case of the water pump. If necessary replace its sealing ring (Replacement of the water pump see).

24. Establish details in an order, the return to removal.

25. Adjust a tension of a belt of a drive of the compressor of the conditioner (Check and adjustment of a tension of a belt of a drive of the compressor of the conditioner see) and a belt of a drive of the generator and the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering (Check and adjustment of a tension of a belt of a drive of the generator and the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering see).
