6.2.10. Differential repair

Deterioration or breakage of details of differential can be one of the reasons of the raised noise in a transmission.

It be required to you: a face head on 15, a universal stripper, оправка for запрессовки bearings, a screw-driver with a flat edge, small beards, a hammer.

1. At strong deterioration of teeths of a gear wheel of a drive of a speedometer replace a gear wheel. For this purpose dissolve with a screw-driver the ends of a lock ring and simultaneously the second screw-driver shift on a pin of a box of differential a gear wheel together with a ring.	2. For replacement of the worn out or damaged bearing press it from a pin of a box of differential.

    

PREVENTIONS The bearing pressed in the shown way, for repeated installation is not suitable, as its separator is damaged. Therefore needlessly do not dismantle differential bearings. At replacement of bearings of differential necessarily replace their external rings established in an adjusting nut and a cover of the bearing (Dismantling and assemblage of a transmission and дефектовка its details see).

15. Small roughnesses on necks of an axis of satellites remove a fine-grained emery paper. At наволакивании with necks of metal of satellites or at their unilateral deterioration replace an axis.	16. At presence having chopped off, выкрашиваний and considerable development of teeths of a conducted gear wheel of the main transfer replace a gear wheel.

THE NOTE At replacement of a conducted gear wheel of the main transfer it is necessary to replace simultaneously and a leading gear wheel (a secondary shaft) as these gear wheels select for noise and establish only in steam.

17. Collect differential in an order, the return to dismantling, taking into account the following:

– A fixing pin of an axis of satellites запрессовывайте in an aperture of a box of differential from that party in which it beat out;

– Differential bearings напрессовывайте on pins of a box of differential, putting effort to an internal ring;

– Before напрессовкой on a pin of a box of differential of a gear wheel of a drive of a speedometer heat up a gear wheel in an oil bath to temperature 80 С;

– A conducted gear wheel of the main transfer напрессовывайте on a differential box, having combined the labels put at dismantling and having heated up a gear wheel in an oil bath to temperature 100 С;

– A carving part of bolts of fastening of a conducted gear wheel grease анаэробным with a carving clamp, tighten bolts in regular intervals cross-wise. Definitively tighten bolts the moment 70 Нм (7,0 кгсм).
