On the car the five-step mechanical transmission (fig. 6.3) is established.
The transmission is executed on двухвальной to the scheme with five synchronised transfers of a forward course and one not synchronised transfer of a backing. The transmission and the main transfer with differential have the general картер; besides, the transmission is supplied additional intermediate картером and a cover. The primary shaft запрессован in the block of gear wheels also is connected to it шлицами.
On secondary to a transmission shaft the leading cylindrical gear wheel of the main transfer, conducted gear wheels and synchronizers of transfers are established. Steams of gear wheels of a forward course of a transmission are in constant gearing. Gear wheels I–V of transfers in neutral position freely rotate on secondary to a shaft.
Transfers of a forward course join axial moving corresponding муфт the synchronizers established on secondary shaft. Backing transfer joins moving of an intermediate gear wheel of a backing along the axis.
The gear change mechanism is located in a cover established from above on картере of a transmission.

The main transfer (fig. 6.4) is executed in a kind of pair the cylindrical gear wheels which have been picked up for noise. The twisting moment is transferred from a conducted gear wheel of the main transfer to differential and further on drives of forward wheels.
