5.7.7. Replacement of a lining of an inlet pipe

Between flanges of a head of the block of cylinders and an inlet pipe the sealing lining made of pressed asbestine sheet, reinforced by a steel is established. At infringement of tightness of this lining the engine works roughly (троит). If it is not possible to eliminate malfunction a tightening of fastening of an inlet pipe, replace a lining.

For replacement of a lining of an inlet pipe to disconnect any hoses (except a hose of system of ventilation картера the engine) and wires it is not required. Their flexibility allows to take away an inlet pipe from a head of the block of cylinders on distance, sufficient for lining removal.

It is required to you face or накидной a key on 12.

1. Merge a liquid from cooling system (Replacement of a cooling liquid see).

2. Loosen the a tension of a belt of a drive of the generator and the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering also remove a belt from a generator pulley (Replacement of a belt of a drive of the generator and the pump of the hydraulic booster of a steering see).

3. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a tension lath of the generator and take away the generator from the engine, having turned it on an arm.	4. Loosen the a collar of fastening of a hose of system of ventilation картера the engine to a branch pipe of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders, having compressed пассатижами its unbent ears, shift a collar on a hose …

5. … also disconnect a hose from a cover.	6. Turn away ten nuts and bolts of fastening of an inlet pipe in the sequence shown on fig. 5.5.

7. Remove an inlet pipe from hairpins, take hardly aside and remove from hairpins a lining.	8. Carefully clear привалочные surfaces of a head of the block and an inlet pipe of the rests of an old lining.

9. Establish a new lining and all removed details in sequence, return to removal.

10. Bolts and nuts of fastening of an inlet pipe tighten in sequence, return shown on fig. 5.5, the moment resulted in the appendix 1.

    

GOOD ADVICE In order to avoid sticking of a lining and for increase of its tightness it is recommended to grease before lining installation it from both parties a thin layer of graphitic greasing. Hairpins of a head of the block of cylinders and bolts of fastening of an inlet pipe grease with graphitic greasing.
