5.8.2. Replacement of hydrojacks of backlashes in the mechanism of a drive of valves

Hydrojacks of backlashes in the mechanism of a drive of valves represent self-regulated support of the press levers transferring effort from a camshaft to valves, and carry out function of elimination of backlashes in a drive.

Hydrojack work is based on a principle несжимаемости the engine oil constantly filling at work of the engine an internal cavity of the hydrojack and moving it плунжер at occurrence of a backlash in a drive of the valve, providing constant contact of the lever of a drive of the valve to a cam of a camshaft without a backlash. Thanks to it necessity of adjustment of valves disappears at maintenance service.

Almost all malfunctions of hydrojacks diagnose on the characteristic noise published газораспределительным by the mechanism on various power setting.

For replacement of hydrojacks the head of the block of cylinders can to be removed from the engine. It is enough to remove the camshaft case only. However after that it is recommended to replace a lining of a head of the block necessarily new as the case of a camshaft and a block head are attached to the block by the same bolts and at a repeated inhaling of bolts the old lining of a head of the block can not provide tightness of connection.

THE NOTE Work carry out through 15–30 mines after an engine stop that pressure of oil in hydrojacks has decreased.

1. For hydrojack replacement remove the camshaft case (Removal, дефектовка and camshaft installation see).

    

THE NOTE Unlike work on camshaft removal in this case it is not necessary to remove the coil of ignition and its arm from the case of a camshaft.

2. Remove press the lever and established on a core of the valve a cracker.

THE NOTE If there is no necessity of replacement, the cracker can to be removed.

3. Take from a nest of a head of the block the hydrojack.

THE NOTE The hydrojack is established in a nest of a head with a small tightness and can be easily taken without application of any tool.

4. Grease the new hydrojack and a nest in a head of the block of cylinders with engine oil and establish the hydrojack in a nest.

5. Similarly replace other hydrojacks.

6. Establish a head of the block of cylinders and a drive detail газораспределительного the mechanism in an order, the return to removal.

    

THE NOTE After hydrojack replacement at the first start-up the engine can work short time with the raised noise until while the hydrojack will not be pumped over.
