9.7.2. Replacement of brake tubes

Connections of tubes with all knots of brake system and hoses, and also a principle of their replacement are identical. All nuts of tubes are executed on a turn-key basis on 10.

Works are shown on an example of the tube connecting a back brake hose with the working cylinder of the back brake mechanism.

GOOD ADVICE For отворачивания nuts of tubes apply special keys as nuts are strongly tightened and usually корродированы owing to what at using usual keys of a side of nuts are rumpled.

1. Turn away a nut of fastening of a tube to the working cylinder. It is more convenient to make it, preliminary having turned out the valve for air removal (Replacement of the working cylinder of the brake mechanism of a back wheel see).	2. Turn away a nut of fastening of a tube to a back brake hose …

3. … unbend the metal holder on a beam of a back suspension bracket …	4. … deduce a tube from the holder and lift the receiver.

THE NOTE The holder of a tube to the working cylinder of the brake mechanism of the right back wheel is made of plastic.

5. Establish a new tube in an order, the return to removal.
