8.3.2. Replacement of steering draught

It be required to you: keys on 12, on 15, on 17, on 19, a key for bolts of wheels, a screw-driver with a flat edge, a stripper of spherical hinges, a calliper.

NOTES Work is more convenient for carrying out on the lift. It is possible to spend it and on the car established on support. Replacement is shown on an example of the left steering draught, the right draught replace similarly.

1. Lift and establish on a support a forward part of the car of from outside replaced draught. Remove a wheel.

    

THE PREVENTION Brake the car a lay brake and establish under back wheels противооткатные an emphasis ("boots").

THE NOTE At carving parts of a bolt the different direction of a carving, therefore a bolt at rotation will be turned out simultaneously from draught and a tip.

11. Clear and examine details of steering draught, faulty details replace.

12. Establish details in an order, the return to removal. At assemblage consider the following requirement: the adjusting bolt should be screwed in draught and a tip on identical number of turns. Whenever possible to keep adjustment of a convergence of wheels, at draught assemblage be guided on measured (item 8 see) free length of an adjusting bolt. The moment of an inhaling of a bolt клеммового connections 22 Нм, nuts of a finger of the spherical hinge 60 Нм, a bolt of fastening of bent for рейке the steering mechanism 90 Нм.
