12.11. Check of a protector of tyres

Intensive deterioration of tyres is promoted by a sports manner of driving, intensive accelerations and sharp braking.

    

THE NOTE Tyres it is possible to maintain of 1,6 mm (depth of flutes of a protector on all surface of the tyre should be not less than 1,6 mm) to depth of a protector. However with a view of safety it is recommended to make replacement of tyres at depth of a protector of 3 mm.

Tyres M+S (winter) on snow have sufficient coupling with road at depth of a protector not less than 4 mm.

It is necessary to survey the tyre on presence of cuts and to establish their depth. If cuts reach a cord, the steel cord will be корродировать from a getting moisture.
