12.10. Pressure check in tyres

Check pressure only in cold tyres (tab. 12.1).

Review frequency — once a month or at car service.

It is desirable to check pressure before long trips as at this time temperature loading on tyres reaches the maximum value. At movement for the big distances at high speed and the lowered pressure in tyres on tyre deformation it is spent more energy therefore it overheats and there can be a branch of a layer of a protector or even tyre rupture.

    

THE PREVENTION At movement of the car with full loading (as much as possible resolved weight of the car with cargo) the maximum speed should not exceed 100 km/h, in tyres it is necessary to increase pressure by 0,2 kgs/sm2 against the normalised.
