10.6.4. Removal and installation of the switch (lock) of ignition

The switch (lock) of ignition is established on a steering column and fixed by two bolts with self-cut off heads, therefore for its replacement bolts are necessary for removing a chisel or to drill an electrodrill. The switch (lock) of ignition can be changed, without removing a steering column, but for convenience you can remove it (Removal and installation of a steering column see).

It be required to you: screw-drivers with flat and crosswise edges, a chisel, a hammer.

1. Disconnect a wire from the plug "minus" of the storage battery.

2. Remove casings of a steering column (Replacement of contact group of the switch (the lock) ignitions see).

3. Turn out a bolt of fastening of the switch, putting blows by a hammer through a chisel on a tangent counter-clockwise.

4. Similarly turn out the second bolt …

5. … also remove the switch (lock) of ignition.	6. Turn out the fastening screw …

7. … also remove contact group.	8. Insert a key into the switch (lock) of ignition and turn it in position ACC.

9. Press a clamp …	10. … also take the cylinder of the lock from the case запорного devices.

11. Establish details in an order, the return to removal.
