10.19.4. Check and replacement of the switch of light of a backing

1. Disconnect a wire from the plug "minus" of the storage battery.

2. Wring out a clamp and disconnect from the gauge pad a plait of wires.

3. Turn out the gauge …

4. … also remove it from the car.
5. Remove from the switch a sealing washer.

THE NOTE
Strongly pressed out washer replace new.

6. For switch check connect to its conclusions a tester in an ohmmeter mode. Resistance should aspire to infinity.
|
7. Press on плунжер the switch — resistance should reduce to zero. Otherwise the switch is faulty also it it is necessary to replace.

8. Establish details in an order, the return to removal.
