11.10.3. Replacement of the lock, a latch and the switch of the lock of a cover of a luggage carrier

It be required to you: a key on 10 (the face head is more convenient), a screw-driver with a flat edge.

1. For removal of the lock of a cover of a luggage carrier remove facing of the panel of a back (Removal and installation of facings of a luggage carrier see).

2. From within a luggage carrier turn out two bolts of fastening of the lock to the amplifier of the panel of a back …	3. … also deduce the lock outside through a window in the panel.

4. Deduce a tip of a cable of a drive of the lock from a lever cut …	5. … a tip of a cover of a cable from a cut of the case of the lock also remove the lock.

6. Will put the lock in an order, the return to removal.

7. If the lock indistinctly locks a cover of a luggage carrier or, on the contrary, unlocks with difficulty, adjust length of a cover of a cable of a drive of the lock for what through a window in the amplifier of the panel of a back take a tip of a cover from a cut of the case of the lock and rearrange it in other position. At indistinct lock-out of the lock move a tip in a direction of the lever of the lock, at the complicated unlocking — in an opposite direction.

8. Establish facing of the panel of a back (Removal and installation of facings of a luggage carrier see).

9. If захлопывание luggage carrier covers it is accompanied by latch blow about the lock lever, adjust lock position, for what from within a luggage carrier ослабьте two bolts of fastening of the lock …	10. … and, moving the lock in a cross-section direction, achieve unaccented захлопывания. Then tighten bolts of fastening of the lock.

11. For removal of a latch of the lock of a luggage carrier from within luggage carrier covers unfasten a clamp of draught of the switch of the lock …

12. … also disconnect draught from the switch lever.	13. Disconnect a wire from the trailer switch of a latch.

14. Turn out two screws of fastening of a latch to the amplifier of a cover of a luggage carrier …

    

THE NOTE The right screw of fastening of a latch simultaneously fixes also "a mass" wire. Do not forget to establish it into place at return installation of a latch.

15. … also remove a latch.	16. If a latch have removed for replacement, disconnect from its lever draught of an external drive, having unfastened a draught clamp, and rearrange draught on a new latch.

17. Establish a latch of the lock of a luggage carrier and all removed details to an order, the return to removal.

18. For removal of the switch of the lock of a luggage carrier disconnect from its lever bent for to a lock latch (subitem 11 and 12 see).

19. Turn on two nuts of fastening of the switch to the external panel of a cover of a luggage carrier …	20. … also remove the switch.

21. For replacement of the cylinder or a switch spring remove from a cylinder shaft a lock washer, having hooked its screw-driver.

22. Insert a key into the switch cylinder …	23. … remove from a shaft the lever 1 and if necessary a spring 2 from the switch case.

24. Take the cylinder from the switch case.

25. Collect and establish the switch of the lock of a cover of a luggage carrier and all removed details in an order, the return to removal.

    

THE NOTE Before switch assemblage grease its cylinder with silicone greasing.
