5.3. Removal and installation of mudguards of the engine

The mudguards of the engine located on each side protect подкапотное space from pollution by streams of the liquid dirt rejected during movement by forward wheels of the car, and are not power protection картера the engine. And the left mudguard is executed for a single whole with подкрылком, its removal is described in section 11 "Body" (Removal and installation of mudguards of wheels and Lockers see). Remove engine mudguards at their damage or for providing of access to knots and units from below the car at repair and maintenance service carrying out.

It be required to you: a key on 10, a screw-driver with a crosswise edge.

1. Turn out three screws of fastening of a forward part of the left mudguard …	2. … also remove a forward part of a mudguard.

3. Turn away a nut of fastening of a back part of a mudguard ahead at the left …	4. … and on the right in an arch of a forward wheel for the muffler of noise of an admission …

5. … turn out two bolts of lateral fastening …	6. … also remove a back part of the right mudguard.

7. Establish the right mudguard of the engine in an order, the return to removal.
