5.14.13. Removal and installation of a pedal of an accelerator

Accelerator pedal remove for replacement of plastic plugs of its axis at occurrence of a scratch, jamming or increased люфте, and also for replacement of a returnable spring at its damage.

THE NOTE And its returnable spring it is possible to replace plugs of an axis of a pedal of an accelerator and it is direct on the car but as access to a pedal is complicated enough, we recommend to remove a pedal in gathering with an arm.

It be required to you: a face key on 12, a screw-driver.

1. Disconnect from a pedal a cable of a drive throttle заслонки (Adjustment and replacement of a cable of a drive throttle заслонки see).

2. Turn on two nuts of fastening of an arm of a pedal to a board передка …	3. … also remove an accelerator pedal in gathering with an arm.

4. For replacement of two plastic plugs 7 (fig. 5.26) axes of 5 pedals remove from both ends of an axis lock washers 6, having hooked their screw-driver. Then take an axis 5 of apertures of an arm 3, serially removing from it the plastic plug 7, a steel washer 4 and a returnable spring 8. Remove from an axis the second steel washer and the plastic plug.

    

THE NOTE So details of fastening of a pedal of an accelerator look. In a photo they are located in the same order in which are established on the car.

5. Collect a pedal of an accelerator and establish it on the car in an order, the return to dismantling and removal.
