3.1.4. Check of the power supply system of the engine

The basic indicator of serviceability of the power supply system of the engine is pressure of fuel in a fuel stage. But to begin with we recommend to check up a condition of the air filter (Replacement of a filtering element of the air filter see) as this procedure is simple and will not occupy a lot of time. After you are convinced of cleanliness of the air filter, check up reliability of electric contacts in колодках plaits of wires of knots of system of the injection, responsible for fuel giving (an electrogasoline pump, atomizers).
Check of pressure of fuel in a fuel stage of the engine is possible only in the presence of a manometre with a set of adapters for connection to the fuel pipeline.
1. Include ignition and listen: within several seconds you should hear a sound of work of an electrogasoline pump. If it it is not audible, check up an electric feed circuit of an electrogasoline pump.

THE PREVENTION
Keep in mind that the electrogasoline pump does not join, if in system топливоподачи there is a pressure. Differently, if you preliminary already included ignition and tried to start up the engine the serviceable electrogasoline pump should create pressure in system and it невключение in this case is not malfunction.

2. Procedure of check of pressure of fuel is described in section 5 "Engine" (Check of pressure of fuel in the power supply system see). At the idling engine pressure in топливопроводе should be about 3 kgs/sm2.
Following reasons of pressure decrease are possible:
– The regulator of pressure of fuel is faulty. Besides, regulator refusal can be caused easing of landing of a hose on the union of the vacuum chamber of a regulator;
– The fuel filter is littered;
– The fuel pump is faulty.
