3.1.3. Check of system of ignition

THE PREVENTION On your car the microprocessor system of ignition (МПСЗ) high energy is established. Pressure is brought to high-voltage wires approximately 40 000 In and though at a small current strength it is harmless for a life, possible blow by a current at check of system of ignition can lead to serious consequences. Therefore, if you undertake a high-voltage wire at the included ignition, take advantage of a thick rubber glove or as a last resort пассатижами with the isolated handles.

    

GOOD ADVICE Before check of system of ignition establish the gear change lever in neutral position and leave included a lay brake.

1. At the switched off ignition check up an integrity and landing of high-voltage wires in nests of the coil of ignition.

2. Check up serviceability of the coil of ignition (Check of the coil of ignition see).

3. If the low-voltage chain of the coil of ignition is serviceable, check up spark presence on spark plugs. Remove a high-voltage wire from any spark plug. Insert into a wire tip a spare spark plug and press its metal part to "weight" of the car (for example, to an inlet pipe). Ask the assistant to turn a starter a cranked shaft of the engine.

    

PREVENTIONS Reliable contact of the case of a candle to "weight" is obligatory, as at occurrence of an additional spark interval, большего, than a backlash between candle electrodes, damage of the block of a control system by the engine or a high-voltage chain of the coil of ignition is possible. 4. If the spark is not present, replace high-voltage wires new. It is possible preliminary to try to establish not new, but checked up, from the working car.

5. If after replacement of wires the spark has not appeared, replace the ignition coil (Removal and installation of the coil of ignition see). If the spark is, but the engine is not got, replace spark plugs new. It is possible preliminary also to try to establish not new, but checked up, from the working car.

6. If and after that the engine is not got, check up serviceability of a control system of the engine (Malfunctions of system of injection of fuel see).
