2.6. Refuelling of the car by gasoline

THE NOTE Fill the car неleaded with gasoline with octane number not less than 92.

It be required to you: the canister with the gasoline, a special funnel for the mouth of a fuel tank having narrowing, excluding refuelling leaded gasoline.

THE NOTE Tips of refuelling pistols of columns for leaded gasoline (a column of the old sample with стрелочными indexes) had the increased diameter. Therefore for an exception of casual refuelling diameter of a bulk mouth is executed by such gasoline smaller, than at tips of pistols of these columns, hence, and the funnel tip should be small diameter.

    

THE PREVENTION Do not smoke and do not use open fire during refuelling.

GOOD ADVICE If at the gas station where you expected to fill the car, just merged fuel from a gasoline tank truck, it is better to look for other column or to return in some hours. The matter is that not all columns are equipped by good filters of clearing and time that all dirt in gasoline has settled on a bottom of the tank of the gas station is necessary. Fill the car at the checked up gas stations. Capacity and durability of the engine directly depend on quality of gasoline. The gasoline which has got on a detail of a body, at once wipe a pure rag. At refuelling do not use plastic canisters or capacities as there is a danger of occurrence of a spark because of a static electricity.

1. To open a cover of the hatch of a fuel tank, pull upwards the lever of a drive of the lock of the cover, located to the left of a seat of the driver on a floor. Thus the cover will lean back

THE PREVENTION At sharp opening fuel spraying is possible, therefore open a stopper of a fuel tank slowly.

3. … also fix on an arm of a cover of the hatch.

4. Insert a pistol of a fuelling column into a bulk mouth of a fuel tank and fill the car. If you fill the car from the canister before refuelling insert into a mouth of a fuel tank a special funnel and fill in gasoline from the canister.

5. After refuelling wrap a stopper clockwise before click. The stopper is supplied by the moment terminator заворачивания, therefore after click will be scrolled.

6. Close the hatch and remove begin to flow gasoline rags.
