1. Remove the generator from the car (Removal and generator installation see).

2. Remove from a shaft of a rotor a generator pulley (Replacement of a pulley of the generator see) …

5. Push бородком in a cover of the generator two clamps …	6. … also remove a lateral protective cover.

7. Similarly push inside two clamps of a protective cover of the back bearing of the generator …	8. … also uncover.

9. Turn out three coupling screws of covers of the generator …	10. … also uncover from outside a drive.

11. Remove from a rotor shaft the remote plug and крыльчатку the fan …	12. … also take out a rotor from a cover from outside contact rings.

THE NOTE Examine contact rings of a rotor. If on them there are teases, risks, scratches, wear tracks from brushes, grind rings.

13. Отпаяйте three conclusions of a winding статора from выпрямительного the block …	14. … also take out статор from a cover.

15. For removal выпрямительного the block and a pressure regulator remove a protective casing. For this purpose push two clamps in a cover …	16. … also remove a casing.

17. Turn away a nut …	18. … also take out a contact bolt from a cover.

19. Turn out four bolts of fastening выпрямительного the block and a pressure regulator …	20. … also take out them from a cover.

21. Отпаяйте conclusions of a regulator of pressure from выпрямительного the block …	22. … also disconnect a regulator of pressure from the block.

23. Uncover щеткодержателя, having wrung out three clamps of its fastening.	24. Take out brushes from the case щеткодержателя.

25. For removal of one of brushes отпаяйте its conclusion from a pressure regulator.

26. Examine a generator cover from outside a drive. If at bearing rotation the rift or jamming of bodies качения is felt люфт between rings, protective rings are damaged or there are traces подтекания greasings, replace the bearing. If cracks in a cover, especially in places of fastening of the generator are found out, it is necessary to replace a cover new.

27. For replacement of the forward bearing выпрессуйте it from a cover.

28. Запрессуйте the new bearing in a cover оправкой suitable diameter, putting effort to an external ring.

29. Check up ease of rotation of the bearing from outside contact rings. If at bearing rotation the rift or jamming of bodies качения is felt люфт between rings, protective rings are damaged or there are traces подтекания greasings, it is necessary to replace the bearing. For this purpose …

30. … press the bearing a stripper from a shaft of a rotor and establish new, putting effort to an internal ring.	31. Check up a tester resistance of a winding of a rotor, having connected it to contact rings. Resistance should make about 2 Ohm. If the tester shows infinity, means, in windings breakage and it is necessary to replace a rotor.

32. Check up short circuit of a winding of a rotor on "weight". For this purpose connect щупы a tester to a pole of a rotor and serially to contact rings. The measured resistance should be infinitely big, otherwise replace a rotor.	33. Check up windings статора on breakage, serially measuring by a tester resistance between all conclusions of windings. If the measured resistance aspires to infinity it is necessary to replace статор.

34. Connect щупы a tester to the case статора and serially to each conclusion of windings. The measured resistance should be very big (to aspire to infinity). Otherwise replace статор.	35. Check up выпрямительный the block. For this purpose connect щупы a tester to a conclusion of a phase winding статора and to an air radiator of diodes. Changing щупы a tester in places, measure resistance. If tester indications are identical in both cases, выпрямительный the block is faulty and demands replacement.

36. Similarly check up two others диодные generator chains.

37. Collect the generator in an order, the return to dismantling, сориентировав covers of the generator and the case статора on earlier made labels. Before cover installation from outside contact rings drown brushes and fix them in such position, having inserted into an aperture of a cover a pin of suitable diameter. After assemblage take a pin.
