On the panel of devices following controls and instrumentations (fig. 1.7 see) are located.

1 – a regulator of the electroproof-reader of light of headlights. Rotation of the handle of a regulator depending on car loading change an angle of slope of a beam of light of headlights so that to exclude blinding of drivers of counter transport. Label combination on the handle of a regulator and figures on a scale provides corresponding adjustment of position of headlights at following variants of loading of the car:

0 – one driver or the driver and the passenger on a forward seat;

1 – all places are occupied;

2 – one driver and cargo in a luggage carrier;

3 – all places are occupied also cargo in a luggage carrier.

2 – a nozzle обдува door glasses.

3 – a lateral nozzle of system of ventilation and salon heating. Lateral nozzles are intended for a direction of a stream of air from a heater, the conditioner or ventilation system. A direction of a stream of air change moving of the handle established in the centre of a nozzle (to the right-to the left), or turn дефлекторов (upwards-downwards).

4 – the lever of the switch of external illumination and turn indexes. The switch lever can occupy following positions:

I — turn of the handle round a lever axis consistently choose one of three fixed positions:

OFF — all is switched off;

II — indexes of the right turn (the fixed position) are included;

III — indexes of the left turn (the fixed position) are included;

IV — the headlight of headlights (the fixed position, the handle should be in position) is included;

V — the headlight of headlights irrespective of handle position (unstable position) is included.

At moving of the lever to position II or III in a combination of devices the control lamp 11 or 6 (fig. 1.9 see) lights up blinking light. At return of a steering wheel to position of rectilinear movement the lever is automatically established in a starting position. At change of a lane for inclusion of the index of turn it is enough to press the lever in a direction of position II or III only till the moment of notable resistance, without fixing the lever. At release the lever will return to a starting position. At a lever finding in position IV or V in a combination of devices the control lamp 10 lights up.

    

THE NOTE If the switch (lock) of ignition is in position LOCK or ACC, at the included external illumination at the moment of opening of a door of the driver the buzzer reminding of necessity to switch off illumination will join.

6 – a combination of devices (the Combination of devices see).

7 – the switch (lock) of ignition united with the antijoy ride device, is located on the right side of a steering column. The key in the lock can occupy one of four positions:

– LOCK (blocking) – ignition is switched off, at the taken out key the antijoy ride device is included.

To take a key from the ignition lock, press a key established in position АСС (the additional equipment), and, keeping its pressed, turn in position LOCK (blocking). Take a key from the lock.

For the guaranteed blocking of a shaft of a steering turn a steering wheel to the right or to the left before click.

For antijoy ride device deenergizing insert a key into the switch of ignition and, slightly turning a steering wheel to the right-to the left, turn a key in position АСС;

    

THE PREVENTION Do not switch off ignition and do not take out a key from the lock during movement: the steering will be blocked also the car becomes uncontrollable.

– АСС (the additional equipment) – ignition is switched off, a key is not taken out, a steering is unblocked. Feed circuits of a sound signal, external illumination, the alarm system by a headlight of headlights, radio equipment, cigarette Lighter are included, etc.;

– ON it (is included) – ignition is included, the key is not taken out, the steering is unblocked. Ignition, devices and all electric chains are included;

– START (starter) – ignition and a starter are included, the key is not taken out, the steering is unblocked. This position of a key unstable, at release a key under the influence of effort of a spring comes back in position ON.

8 – the lever of the switch of a cleaner and a windscreen washer includes electric chains at the included ignition and can occupy following positions:

OFF — the screen wiper is switched off (the fixed position);

INT — the faltering operating mode of a screen wiper (the fixed position) is included. That screen wiper brushes have made one cycle, press the lever towards position INT till the moment of notable resistance and release the lever;

LO — the first (low) speed of a screen wiper (the fixed position) is included;

HI — the second (high) speed of a screen wiper (the fixed position) is included;

I — lever moving on itself the windscreen washer (unstable position) joins. By pressing the lever after a washer the screen wiper which brushes will make some running cycles automatically will join.

9 – the switch of a back antifog lantern. An antifog lantern include pressing the switch button at the turned handle of the lever 4 switches in position or. By repeated pressing the button the antifog lantern is switched off.

10 – a regulator of temperature of air submitted to salon (Heating (air-conditioning) and salon ventilation see).

    

THE NOTE On car Daewoo Lanos on the central facing electronic clock with digital indication on the liquid crystal display are established. On the obverse panel of hours buttons of installation and a choice of operating modes are located.

11 – the central nozzles of system of ventilation and salon heating. A direction of a stream of air change moving of handles to the right-to the left or turn дефлекторов upwards-downwards.

12 – the switch of operating modes of the fan (Heating (air-conditioning) and salon ventilation see).

13 – the alarm system switch. By pressing a switch key all indexes of turn and the control lamps corresponding to them established in a combination of devices light up blinking light. By repeated pressing a key the alarm system is disconnected.

    

THE NOTE The alarm system works at any position of a key in the switch (lock) of ignition.

14 – a regulator of distribution of streams of air submitted to salon (Heating (air-conditioning) and salon ventilation see).

15 – the switch of electroheating of back glass. By pressing the switch button (a key in the ignition lock in position АСС) joins electroheating of back glass, simultaneously lights up a control lamp in the button. By repeated pressing the button heating is switched off also a control lamp dies away.

    

PREVENTIONS The heating element consumes very big current. Therefore in order to avoid the excessive category of the storage battery include electroheating at the working engine and only for time necessary for elimination запотевания of back glass. Not to damage a heater thread, for clearing of an inside of back glass do not use scrapers and other sharp subjects, and also washing-up liquids with abrasive substances.

16 – a ware box. Serves for storage of small things.

For reception of access to a ware box pull for the handle …

… also open it.

17 – the lever заслонки a mode рециркуляции (Heating (air-conditioning) and salon ventilation see).

20 – a sliding coaster. To take advantage of a coaster …

… press its obverse panel and release — the tray partially leaves the panel of devices.

Then completely extend a tray from the panel of devices. After use push a tray into place and press it before clamp operation.

21 – an ashtray. For ashtray use undertake the handle …

… also put forward an ashtray from the panel of devices.

For ashtray clearing press a clamp and take an ashtray from the panel of devices.

22 – a control lever a transmission (the Control lever a transmission see).

23 – the lever of a lay brake. To brake the car a lay brake, lift the lever against the stop upwards — in a combination of devices the alarm lamp 17 (fig. 1.9 see) will light up red light.

That растормозить the car, pull the lever a little upwards, press the button in an end face of the handle of the lever and lower the lever against the stop downwards — the alarm lamp should go out.

24 – прикуриватель. For using прикуривателем press the button of its mobile part (a key in the ignition lock in position АСС). After heating of a spiral during 10–20 with a mobile part automatically with click will return to a starting position …

… and прикуриватель it is possible to take for use.

    

PREVENTIONS Прикуриватель it is possible to include repeatedly not earlier than through 20 with. Do not keep прикуриватель compulsorily in the pressed position. Do not use a cartridge cigarette Lighter for connection of powerful electric devices (an electrocoffee maker and so forth) is to can lead to damage of an electric equipment of the car. If the button cigarette Lighter does not come back in a starting position through 30 with the ambassador of inclusion, take прикуриватель from a cartridge not to admit перегорания a spiral.

26 – the conditioner switch (Heating (air-conditioning) and salon ventilation see).

29 – the switch of a sound signal. To include a sound signal, press the switch.

30 – a cover of the assembly block of safety locks (Assembly blocks see).

31 – the lever of a drive of the lock of a cowl. For cowl opening pull the lever on itself. The forward edge of a cowl, forming a crack for access to the handle of a safety hook of a cowl Thus rises. Having wrung out it, it is possible to open a cowl.
